Looking at the growing popularity of dual purpose sports bikes, Honda recently launched its new CRF250L dual purpose bike, which is powered by a 249cc liquid cooled single engine. The engine features the company’s own PGM-FI or Programmable Fuel Injection, a compact cylinder head and a counter-balancer that is gear-driven.
The bike manufacturer claims that its new offering returns 77 mpg of fuel economy and its 2.0 gallon tank offer a total range of close to 155 miles. The twin-spar frame on which the bike’s engine is mounted is very light weight yet sturdy. It has 256mm twin-spar frame disc combo brakes at the front and 220mm disc at its rear.
